Marmot Days

Thursday, October 5

Well, it's been a few months since I've posted anything, and obviously the rest of the blogging world have continued to cover anything of importance that's been happening, and it would appear that no one has missed the West Coast Marmot, so I have been thinking that perhaps another path to follow, and comment on, might be viable, readable change in Marmot Days appearance.

I don't expect any comments. Let alone readers, but on the off chance that there is the occasional one that does peruse the site , then this diatribe might be of interest.

So what is the future?.. Probably a more sporadic series of entries about stuff that I am currently interested in talking about. [g]

I think I will leave all the heavy political and sociological stuff to the passionate youth of our nation as I believe, from my involvement and experience of the last 8 months, that it is in good hands. I will, continue to check in on my favourite bloggers, small dead animals. Ottawa Watch Political Staples, etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, if interested, check back from time to time, and if you find anything of interest, fine.. if not, c'est la vie.. [grin]
Hope everyone had a great summer, and is enjoying a wonderful Canadian Fall.. I know we are, here on the west Coast, record setting warm, sunny summer, in BC and on Vancouver Island, and the fall continues the trend. Global warming to blame?.. terrific!.. keep it coming.. Now I hear we have an El Nino forming.. Great!.. Warm drier winters! Sounds wonderful to me.. Bring it on!..
As for Global warming, being caused by man?.. bullsh*t.. no scientific proof to support it.. only paid pseudo-quacks of special interest groups.. In any event, said I'd stay away from all that, didn't I..
I will just continue to bask in the pleasant effects .. roar!..
Til the next time.. I will enjoy my Miata [with the top down until Xmas], play with my model train layout [On30] rekindled interest after 50 year abscence.. and enjoy life in the best place in Canada to live..
Cheers for now..
I have thought those very words myself . Must be because I am from the Island too. Wonderful summer, eh? Enjoy your trains and hope to hear more from you.
Thanks for the comment, John.. appreciated.. There are times when one thinks that the world is like a brick wall, or humans have blinders on.. grin.
In any event, it was a super summer, top down weather for 4+ months..
As for my railroad efforts check here.. http://ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cdpatterson_ca/my_photos
The problem is deciding on a plan.. collecting equipment is the easy part.. lots to do and learn over the 'winter'..
